How do I book a therapy session with Zoie?

You can schedule an appointment directly through this website by clicking the "Book Now" button. Zoie offers flexible scheduling to accommodate new and returning clients.

Is Zoie accepting new clients?

Yes! Zoie is currently accepting new clients seeking individual therapy and couples therapy. Spots are now available for Zoie’s Women’s Support Group, Healing Hearts. If you’re looking for a licensed therapist for anxiety, depression, or general mental health support, you can book your first session online today.

How soon can I schedule an appointment?

Zoie typically has availability within a week. If you’re ready to start therapy, check her schedule and book a session directly through the website.

Does Zoie offer virtual therapy sessions?

Yes! Online therapy is available for clients who prefer the convenience of virtual sessions. This allows you to receive professional mental health support from the comfort of your home.

Does Zoie accept insurance?

Zoie is not accepting insurance at this time. Zoie is happy to provide you with a SuperBill to use as a claim to send to your insurance if you’d like to use your out-of-network benefits.

Steps to determine your out-of-network benefits for mental health

1. Call your health insurance provider (usually, this number is on the back of your insurance card). 

2. Ask whether you have out-of-network benefits, specifically for mental health. 

3. Ask whether you have an out-of-network mental health deductible, and if so, ask how much it is and how much has been met so far.

4. Ask what percentage your health insurance provider will cover per mental health session once they begin reimbursing you (i.e., once you meet your out-of-network mental health deductible). 

5. Confirm that they cover CPT code 90837 (this is the medical code I bill under). 


6. Ask how many mental health sessions per year are covered (sometimes, it's unlimited). 

7. Ask how you get reimbursed/submit a claim for reimbursement. Ask how many days it takes for the claim for reimbursement to be processed and for the reimbursement to be sent to you. 

8. Ask what your plan's out-of-network out-of-pocket maximum is — meaning, once you hit a certain $ amount of out-of-network out-of-pocket payments (for example, $2,000), you may be eligible for 100% reimbursement of out-of-network costs.
